Stage 1, Subclass 188A is granted for 4 years and it is temporary visa.
After visa grant, you must enter Australia to buy a business, join an existing business or establish a new business. You must operate that business for 2 years. You must be physically inside Australia for 1 year cumulatively during the 2-year period.
Stage2, Subclass 888A is a permanent visa. To apply, this visa has three streams and you must continue the same stream as you applied in Stage 1.
This is for you if:
- You have operated and managed a business in Australia for 2 years (8 quarters)
- You have been inside Australia for 1 year cumulatively in that 2-year period
- Your share must be minimum 30%
- The annual turnover must be minimum AU$300,000
- Your investment in the business must be AU$200,000 or your net assets in Australia must be AU$600,000 or your business must employ two local persons full time
